1 egg
1⁄3 cup water
2 cup all-purpose flour
1⁄2 tsp salt
Directions
- In a medium bowl, beat egg and mix in water.
- In a large bowl, combine flour and salt. Create a well in the center and slowly pour in egg and water. Mix well. If the mixture is too dry, increase the amount of water one teaspoon at a time until a pliable dough is formed.
- On a lightly floured surface, knead the dough until elastic. Cut dough into two separate balls. Cover with a damp cloth and let the dough rest for 30 minutes.
- Cut each ball into four equal pieces. Place three back under the damp cloth until ready to use. Roll a piece into a square, cut it into nine equal smaller squares, and then roll each square individually. Repeat with remaining dough. Use in any recipe that calls for wonton wrappers.
